Looking for high-quality yet affordable sales training classes online can be overwhelming. Even if they don’t impact your wallet, you want to know they are worth your time. Here’s the skinny on which free sales training classes are worth investing hours in.

HubSpot Academy describes itself as the “worldwide leader in free online training for inbound marketing, sales, and customer service professionals.” They offer more than 70 free sales training classes to choose from, as well as 12 different certifications in areas such as inbound sales, revenue operations, and digital marketing.
HubSpot Academy’s content is produced by their own internal experts and by vetted external subject matter experts. Every course is free. While they don’t include participant reviews on their site, you can go to outside review platforms like G2 and TrustRadius for reviews of the overall program.

Coursera offers nearly 100 sales training classes. Many of these are free to audit, including everything that’s part of the paid course except the graded assignments, quizzes, and certificate of completion. Coursera is a curated platform with content published by its authorized partners, including universities, top industry companies, and other official institutions.
Coursera’s pricing is dependent on several factors, including whether you want completion certificates, university credits, or even a complete degree program.
If you’re looking to learn on your own but still want a certificate of completion for each course you complete, they do offer unlimited access to all courses for $59 per month.
Coursera does provide access to student reviews for many of the courses offered, which is helpful for determining whether it’s the right fit for you.

Technically, LinkedIn Learning isn’t free—it costs about $29.99 per month. However, if you have a LinkedIn Premium account, you already have access to everything on LinkedIn Learning. Who knew? (I did not.)
There are thousands of sales training classes and sales-related courses available on LinkedIn Learning. Content is produced by vetted industry subject-matter experts who undergo a formal submission process. LinkedIn Learning also has a great feature where you can enter your career goals, and it will map out the courses you should take on your career journey.
Like Coursera, LinkedIn Learning includes hundreds of course reviews to help you determine if a specific course is right for you.

Alison Learning describes itself as the “free online empowerment platform for education and skills training.” They offer more than 6,000 courses in topics from engineering to language, with hundreds of free sales training classes.
All Alison Learning courses are accredited by the UK’s Continuing Professional Development Certification Service. Like LinkedIn Learning, you can enter information about your career plans, and Alison Learning will design a career-ready plan for you.
If you’re interested in transitioning into sales from another profession, Alison Learning offers helpful features like free personality assessments and resume help.
